This Micro Learning section will help you to deepen your knowledge and understanding of our ex racehorses. The Micro learnings give insights into our training ideas, concepts and thoughts as we work with with THEM as horses, how they are, and not what we 'want' them to be.
Some of our MicroLearnings are from videos, some are from our online Zoom sessioms. When you purchase one of the videos (each 15-20mins long), you will be sent a downloadable PDF. Once you recive the PDF PLEASE CLICK ON THE IMAGE ON THE PDF TO OBTAIN VIDEO. This gives you UNLIMITED LIFETIME access to the videos.
There are currently 5 MicroLearnings available: "Stiff Neck, Sore Back', "Cantering without Concern", "From Giraffe to Great" (an interactive MicroLearning), 'A Day at the Races' and the "Bridging the Gap' series of video based learnings/teachings.
Each Microlearning has a selection of videos, which mean you can choose whichever suits you and your ex-racehorse best. There are also 'bundle' options which gives you access to ALL of the videos in the series at a discounted rate.

A 2-part series which is fantatsic for those looking for more understanding and help with cantering your ex racehorse. It highlights common concerns, and problems, and answers training questions. This series covers: the canter transitions, both 'to' canter and from 'canter to trot'; getting the correct canter lead; dealing with the 'fast' canter/'racehorse mode'; how to start developing straightness and ridebaility in the canter; dealing with 'common problems' and how to feel safe whilst doing so. These sessions use 'examples'/case studies of our ex racehorses and how we develop and train them accordingly. We call it "6 Versions of the Racehorse':
For each of these you will recieve the recordng of the session, plus exercises (PDF format) which are talked through in the sessions, and appropriate training videos. After purchase, you will receive the exercises and downloadable PDF/link via the email address you have supplied.
These Micro Learnings look in greater detail at 5 key areas, that will deepen your understanding of how to work with your your ex-racehorse from the very beginning of retraining, through to the early stages of ridden work.
Each session is 30-60 minutes long and has a Q&A at the end. With each session you will recieve AT LEAST one training video and one exercsie to complement what we have been discussing throughout the session.
